       The Phoenicians got there name from the Greeks.  The Phoenicians lived in Africa.   Their ships had really long horns to ram holes into the enemy ships with.  The Phoenicians sacrificed children to their gods.  The Phoenicians trade glass vases and beads for goods. The Phoenicians had big horns on their boats because if enemy ships want to fire they can just skink

them and  win.   The Phoenicians later became part of the Persian empire. The Phoenicians where skilled sailors and went any where they wanted to.

 

            The Phoenicians where famous for their war ships.  The Phoenicians achievement was the invention of there alphabet, which is the basis of the alphabet we use today. The Phoenicians were on good terms with their Israelite neighboures . The Phoenicians cites had splendid harbous and strong defenses.  The greatest of them were Tyre and Syria.
