Introduction You're trapped! You beat your wings trying to free yourself . You break out from your chrysalis safe in a tree. You feel strange and different. You went from a fat caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly! What type of butterfly are you? Why are you able to fly?

Task 1. You are a butterfly but what kind? Choose a butterfly you like.

2.Find out about your life cycle.

3. Find out if your butterfly is endangered or threatened. If so, when in the life cycle is it threatened and can you help save them?

4. Create a project to tell what your butterfly is like.

1. Choose a partner to work with that you can get along with.

2. Choose a butterfly you both like.

3. Take notes about their Life Cycle, list some needs for food and shelter so that you know how they survive or if they are being threatened.

4. Use books from your library or websites to get information on your Butterfly.

5. Decide how you want to show your information. Here are some ideas ; Posters, garden booklet, Slideshow, or a magazine.

6. Look for food for your butterfly to eat and don't forget to look for food for they caterpillar.

7. Look for where your butterfly lives and where it has it's young.
