Starfall Worksheets

The Starfall learn-to-read program was created to meet the needs of the emergent reader by incorporating rhyming games and high-interest books that teach phonemic awareness (sounds in words), phonics, decoding skills, and comprehension. The program is designed to instill confidence and enable the child to proceed as quickly as possible to a balanced reading program.

Starfall now charges a shipping fee of .50/book to send you copies of their materials. But, you can print free worksheets to be photocopied by clicking on the link to the left.

Bing and Bong's Tiny Planets This science activity site from the UK is arranged into four "worlds"; Nature, Technology, Light and Color, and Home. Each contains a number of challenging and engaging activities for primary students. The activities demonstrate a variety of scientific principles, but because the site does not include lessons or follow-up, these activities are best used before or after classroom discussions about weather, seasons, light, machines, and so on. This really is a worthwhile site, but be sure to take some time to explore it yourself before sending students there.
Gamequarium This "portal for Preschool-Grade 2 students" offers games in six categories -- ABC, 1-2-3, Colors, Shapes, Time, and Money. Each category (with the exception of 1-2-3) contains four games;1-2-3 contains five.
