You are a world famous butterfly scientist. You have to give a speech to the town about how butterflies change and how they use their body. but you never learned about that in school. Here you will find all the things you need to get an award on that speech.

Your task as a butterfly scientist is to find out how butterfly's change and how they use their body. Then design a book that has pictures and explains about that butterfly's life cycle and its body. Then write a speech you can say when you show the book to your town.

1. Research about butterflies changes and body.  You can use: books, internet, etc. You can also use the worksheet to assist you.
2. Design a book with a front and back cover, pictures , drawings and captions. The book has to explain the changes and body of a butterfly.
3. Write a short speech to say when you present the book. You can type the speech too.
4. Present the book and say the speech to your class.

When you create your book, you  should add pictures, drawings, captions and other decorations. More color will get you a higher score. Make sure you put your name and teachers name on the cover as well as a title like "the Butterfly Life" or "How the butterfly lives". In your speech, you should have how long it took for you to make the book, if you enjoyed researching butterflies and any other information you learned.

Now you are ready to give that speech. You get that award too! You really are a butterfly expert!
